About me
Brittney O’Brien is the Literacy and Language Coordinator at the Santa Clara County Office of Education, leading professional learning initiatives for the California Collaborative for Learning Acceleration (CCLA). Previously, she was a STEAM Teacher on Special Assignment with Mountain View Whisman School District. Brittney earned her Master’s in Education from Delta State University while teaching in the Mississippi Delta with Teach for America. She also coordinates "Stem to Stern," a program that gives middle school students access to STEM activities and rowing in Redwood City. Brittney enjoys oceanfront activities and lives in Half Moon Bay with her two cats.
