About me
Joseph has served the educational community in both Southern and Central California as a teacher, coach, and curriculum specialist. He is driven by a passion for empowering students to become sense makers of mathematics and for building capacity and a strong sense of efficacy in all teachers. Joseph is an improvement specialist for TCOE’s Central Valley Networked Improvement Community (CVNIC), Central Valley Network Improvement Community College Ready (CVNIC-CR), and a statewide effort to build capacity for learning acceleration through California Collaboration for Learning Acceleration (CCLA). Joseph facilitates professional learning for teachers around the California Mathematics Standards to support teachers in content knowledge, pedagogy, and instructional shifts to support all students.
