About me
Karen Eaton is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in literacy instruction, curriculum development, and professional learning facilitation. She currently serves as the ELA/Language Development Coordinator for the California Collaborative for Learning Acceleration (CCLA) Grant at the Contra Costa County Office of Education, where she collaborates with statewide teams to enhance literacy programs in schools through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement processes. Prior to this, she held various leadership roles, including District Instructional Coach and Teacher on Special Assignment, focusing on technology integration and assessment systems. With a strong foundation in education, Karen has been recognized for her contributions, earning honors such as the American Literacy Corporation’s Outstanding Contributions to Literacy Award and multiple Teacher of the Year honors.
